Parent Resources

Parent to Parent of New York State is a parent support program. Services include a parent matching program, disease-specific and disability services information and referral, healthcare, education and housing information, and family training on working with Medicaid Service Coordinators. 

The Council of Children and Families (NYSB5) is conducting virtual parent focus groups to gather information about early childhood programs and child care. Are you a parent or caregiver of a child with a disability? Click here to help inform statewide decisions. 

Center for Parent Information and Resources serves as a central resource of information for parents, individuals, caregivers, and other people involved in the lives of people with special needs. 

Home Energy Assistance Program provides assistance to eligible individuals to pay for unaffordable energy costs. Emergency benefits are also available. 

Families Together in New York State is a family run, non-profit organization that strives to establish a unified voice for children and youth with emotional, behavioral and social challenges. It provides training, education, support, and referral services.
